Otis is a great family dog that loves to be around the family especially around Tom's two twin boys. No matter where Tom goes with Otis he is constantly reminded how beautiful a dog he is. While Otis is a very calm dog in the home his  abilities in the field are something to see. At the age of 10 months Otis and his sister were hunting woodcock in Pa. Both sister and brother from the first time out handled and pointed woodcock like they had been doing it for many years. Otis has a search pattern that is the classical left to right search. He hits the ground with enthusiasm and will not stop hunting until we are back at the truck and he is kenneled. Training Otis has been a pleasure in that he loves to learn and to please! Otis love for hunting is matched by his love of water! Otis is available to breed for approved females.
