Here you will find the latest information as it pertains to an
upcoming Nobelle Breeding!
Before we will consider a breeding
we evaluate our dogs in the field under actual hunting conditions. While we also highly believe in and recommend testing our
dogs it is in the field under actual hunting conditions that we can best determine which dogs we want to carry on the Nobelle
tradition.

Repeat Breeding
Nobelle Maximus x Nobelles Final Testament
That old adage of the proof is in the pudding certainly holds true
with this breeding. As this is a repeat breeding we left out all of the guesswork. Originally I was going to look for another
stud dog as we have used Maximus with Tessie before. I had been working with 8 of the pups out of their previous breeding
when I realized why in the world would I not want to duplicate what has already been tried, proven, and tested. I guess I
am full of adages when I sat down to write this for as they say"if it ain't broke don't fix it" No truer words can
be said to describe how their puppies perform in the field and in the home!
I am fortunate in that I have the
availability of training grounds less than an hour away which makes it very easy for me to help out those that purchase pups
from us. I have worked with 6 of these puppies on a week in week out basis therefore if there is anyone that can truly
evaluate the breeding it is me. I am very tough when evaluating my own pups much harder on myself than I am evaluating other
puppies. This repeat breeding will produce puppies that will:
- They will point very young with points that are intense hard and true!
- They are very cooperative coupled
with a desire to find birds.
- They are very intelligent
learning quickly what is expected of them.
- They love
to retrieve and will do so with a high and happy tail!
- In the field from a very early age these puppies are all business, in the home
they are quiet members of the family.
The Parents
The bloodlines of Tessie and Max are some of the best in the country today.
Most importantly, both are proven in the field and water under actual hunting conditions as well as tested within NAVHDA and
AKC.
Their German heritage comes from two
of the most productive and famous German Kennels from the motherland; Hege-Haus and Wasserschling. While most boast about
their pedigrees containing a few of these names someplace way back in the heritage, in our breeding program these bloodlines
are up front and not some distant relative 6 or more generations back! Both are hunted on woodcock and grouse as time permits.
I had owned the grandmother and the mother of the sire as well as the grandmother and the mother of the dam.
You will find additional information pertaining to the individual dogs within
the pedigree on the website under dams and sires. Please
take a few moments to review that information.
