Meadows Grove Updates:
Sunday March 27th will
be the last day of stocking for the 2010 / 2011 season.
For those of
you not coming back next year it has been a pleasure to know you and thank you for becoming a member of the MeadowsGrove family.
Everytime I thnk of how long Meadows Groves has been together it boggles my mind. We have had our issues over the years thats
the way life is. Through all the ups and downs, issues and non-issues that come up, after more than 20 years the club for
me is something very special. Many of us grew up with the club. We have had pups had their first and last brid contact on
the club. Our children who were young at the time now many of them have children of their own.
I could not imagine what it would be like come November if I could not make that right hand turn on Meadows Road
pulling into the club house to start the season. It is human nature to sometimes take things for granted, I know I have been
guilty of the same. As I grow older I have learned to appreciate the simple things of life and everything it offers and sometimes
throws at you. I feel truly lucky to have the ability to come up to Meadows Grove if even for a few hours. I think James Taylor
said it best in a song "to forget about life for awhile".
This will be the last post on this website until probably sometime in August. Please remember that the installments
for the 2011 season are due by April 15th and then September 15th. Checks should be made payable to Meadows Grove Sportsmen,Inc.
Please mail them to Robert Corsaro 555 Upper Blvd, Ridgewood New Jersey 07450.
If you will not
be returning would you please forward an email to nobelleknl@aol.com. I am beginning to work on our budget for the 2011/2012
season. This information will be very helpful.
Do you know
that when a woman wears a leather dress a man;s heart beats quicker, his throaty gets dry, he gets weak in the knees, and
he begins to think irrationally? Ever wonder why? It's because she smells like a new truck!
Thank you and have a safe summer!
FEBRUARY 25TH 2011:
And you thought we would never stock again! We will resume stocking the weekend of March 5 and 6. Unless
Mother Nature throws us a curve ball we have 6 weekends of stocking to make up. We have been speaking to the bird supplier
to see what at this time can be worked out. So that we can end the season before the fourth of July holiday we have worked
out that the bird supplier will cancel our chukars as well as not give us any hens but rather all cock birds. We will apply
the money we have on Chukar to the extra cost of maintenance we are charged each month to house the birds. Unless plans change
below please find the stocking schedule for the remaining of the season. There will be no other emails pertaining to stocking
so
